The result is a multi-functional VST equalizer that can handle anything you would expect an equalizer to do for you. Besides great sound and broad functionality, the DQ7's interface and graphical display offer intuitive tools to create your own signature workflow. We find it's simply suitable for every equalizing job!

Get the free demo version!

The DQ7 is great for recording:
With just one click the DQ7 will jump from stereo to mono mode or even to dual mono. The interface is designed to let you work intuitively fast while staying accurately precise. The large display will give you a convenient overview of your EQ settings while you are pre occupied with laying down tracks and coaching the performer(s).

The DQ7 is great for mixing:
Apart from a great sound, what would be the next thing you would expect your ideal equalizer to be? CPU-friendly? How many tracks will be involved? Would you like to treat your FX with a DQ7 too? An extra EQ for your master output? The DQ7 sounds wonderfully warm and clear and still it's extremely CPU friendly. The demo will show you how many DQ7's your CPU can handle.

The DQ7 is great for mastering:
All has been said about the sound quality. From our download section you can download the DQ7's manual which will tell you about all specifications of the DQ7's high pass and low pass filters, its 2 shelf filters and its 3 peak-EQ filters. The manual will also tell you about the fact that even at extreme settings, there will be no internal clipping in our DQ7. Besides this you will notice that common digital filter problems such as modulation instability and unexpected phase-distortion have been fully eliminated which results in highly transparent audio response characteristics.

The DQ7 is great for everything else:
While performing a sound restoration job you don't only want an equalizer to be extremely versatile but the equalizer should also stay precise at extreme values like +24db or -96db. You would want to set the Q-factor and/or shelf slopes with great and intuitive ease. The DQ7 is great at this!

As an additional feature, the DQ7 display, and the component groups building the image, may be brightness-adjusted to your personal taste.

The DQ7 has a great and simple to operate preset manager containing 128 preset slots and 8 favorites slots. We have included a set factory presets. Default presets for an equalizer seem a bit silly considering that equalizers are always tuned for use in specific situations. However, we feel the presets might be handy to have something to start with while discovering the DQ7. For less experienced users, they also have educational value in showing some typical EQ applications.

From our download section you can download a demo version of our DQ7 along with its detailed and clearly written manual. While the DQ7 is in demo-mode, it will regularly produce a
-36DB beep. To install the demo version unzip the file and put the .dll in your VST folder. Those who have bought the registration key from our shop will find the registration instructions in the DQ7's .pdf manual.

The DQ7 is currently only available for Windows. The Mac version will be released in the summer of 2006.

Maxx Claster -Toxic III released (Pc)

TOXIC III

We are very pleased to introduce you to our new synthesizer - Toxic III !
Overview:

Toxic III is a VSTi format synthesizer for PC, designed to bring you professional quality results, while maintaining an amateur learning curve that won’t hinder your creativity. Toxic features a hybrid synthesis engine, combining the best of FM and Subtractive synthesis. With the addition of a warm, analog-modeled filter and set of built-in effects, the Toxic concept remains one of convenience, simplicity, and superb sound quality.

Toxic III is based on several of Maxx Claster's intuitive, unparalleled technologies.
The FM technology

...One of the ‘warmest’, crisp, and clear Frequency Modulation engines in the world, owes its sound to the precise calculation of the digital signal. Due to high-resolution DSP processing, it produces sound with an extremely low noise threshold; something that most FM engines cannot offer. The Toxic III sound was built from the ground up, via our own unique mathematical calculations and analog-modeling techniques.
The Oscillators

...Completely alias-free, and well tuned for all sampling rates, they produce a rich, "fat" sound all across the spectrum. Due to the high quality of the anti-aliasing process, users will not encounter the shredding noise on high frequencies that has plagued FM synthesis in the past. Furthermore, the oscillators are calculated at extremely high speeds, keeping your CPU usage to a minimum. Toxic III’s low CPU consumption affords the user plenty of room for external processing and running multiple instances. The oscillators also come equipped with Maxx Claster’s own powerful spectrum analysis technology. This allows the user to create his or her own waveforms, via the simple process of loading a WAV or AIFF format sound file. All of these features make the oscillators very flexible, and allow for the use of both synthetic and acoustic waveforms within Toxic III. Each oscillator also comes with 32 built in ‘classic’ waveforms, each shown to be the most useful in FM synthesis.
The Effects

...Made to assure high quality and flexibility is built into the synthesizer its self, Toxic III aims to reduce the need for external processing altogether! The effect modules are designed to give the user access to several types of effects, from aggressive, tube-like distortion, to warm stereo delay, reverb, flanger, and phaser effects. With our own pro-quality tape delay emulation, based on non-fixed delay buffer sizes, instead of the usual methods incorporated within digital delays, our delay lines give you warm sound, with “true” feedback and modulation. Lastly, the signal chain features an analog-modeled, parametric equalizer to further shape your sound. The EQ provides access to crisp, clear high-end definition, creamy mid ranges and earth-shaking low-end frequencies. The Toxic III effect modules expands its palette of sound to include everything from dark, atmospheric textures to razor sharp leads, fit to slice easily through any mix.
The Filter

...Maxx Claster's own analog-modeled, multimode filter is reminiscent of a certain silver box of old. Garnishing a warm, resonant Low-Pass mode, a smooth Band-Pass setting, and a creamy High-Pass mode, Toxic III gives a wealth of control over tone. The filter is further enhanced by modulation via a dedicated envelope generator and low frequency oscillator, as well as responding to velocity information and keyboard tracking. These features allow for extreme sound shaping, as well as subtle nuances attributed to dynamic playing.
The Sequencer

...Powerful, yet simple, the sequencer offers a total of 64 steps, which can be divided into two independent, 32 step modules to allow double-polyphonic patterns. Using our own "Smart Sequencer" technology, when a chord is played, the module defines that chord, and tunes the pattern accordingly. The sequencer also allows for pure playback of the programmed sequence from single notes. Simply holding one chord can virtually create an arrangement for you!

TwistaLoop is a tool that automatically analyzes any audio by dissecting it into its rhythmic components, allows the editing of this audio with multiple loop points and regions, and offers total control over tempo with real-time audio time expansion/compression - all with E-MU's patented pitch interpolation for unmatched audio fidelity.

Morph Filter Designer
The Morph Filter Designer provides users with filter creation tools that E-MU's sound designers have been using for years to create the legendary morphing Z-Plane filters. The Morph Filter Designer now allows the construction of all-new exotic filter types that can be morphed from one type to another in real-time.

Multi-Function Generator
The Multi-Function Generator offers advanced LFO/envelope/arpeggiator programming, providing three function generators per voice that are directly tied into Emulator X2's powerful synthesis architecture (over 100 parameters). These Function Generators have several key sync and direction modes that enable complex levels of control, and can be programmed to modulate pitch, filters, volume, retrigger samples or LFO's, change tempo or trigger other events.

Transform Multiply
Transform Multiply is a convolution DSP tool that creates new sounds by combining the timbral and time elements of two signals in a way that reinforces frequencies common to both sources and discards frequencies not present in both. This powerful tool is applicable to everything from adding a custom reverb (by adding a reverb impulse to another sound) to full blown voice articulation of musical instruments (combining speech with an instrument).

NOVUZEIT - Voxelay v1.0 (Pc)

Voxelay is a diverse FX unit designed explicitly to enhance vocals. Traditional chorus, delay, or reverb effects are a cinch with Voxelay, thanks to its feature rich design. Yet with Voxelay's esoteric functionality, completely unique and innovative delay effects are a prime possibility. Dub style echos, micro-burst combfiltering, soprano choirs, and much more are easily obtained. Voxelay will become the delay unit you find yourself coming back to again and again. Not only for your vocals, but possibly everything else.

Voxelay starts with not one, but five delay layers. (Each layer can be turned on or off individually to save CPU processing power.) Each delay layer has in turn five timing offsets to choose from, from "micro" to "dub", combined with individual modulation and feedback controls as well. Each delay layer has independent pitchshifting (with LFO), stereo panning (with LFO), analog filtering, volume, and wet/dry setting parameters. Each delay layer also has an individual vowel filter for harmonic overtone enhancement. With so many parameters to choose from, each delay layer becomes its very own effect in of itself, for creating dense, intricate chorus effects... or perhaps simple vocal doubling if so desired. Beyond the five delay layers, Voxelay also offers global clipping, global volume and wet/dry parameters, and a fully stereo compatible global reverb.

Acon Digital Media - Studio Clean v1.5 (Pc)

Studio Clean™ is a DirectX and VST compatible plug-in suite for use in host applications such as audio editing or processing software. It consists of four plug-ins for noise reduction and quality enhancements:

* StudioDenoiser is a plug-in for broadband noise reduction. Because the algorithm takes the perceptual properties of the human hearing into account it achieves a high level of noise reduction with a minimum of artifacts.
* StudioDeclicker contains two different algorithms. The actual click filter eliminates larger clicks and pops in the recording, while the crackle filter eliminates very frequent, but short clicks.
* StudioDeclipper restores recordings that suffer from analog or digital clipping.
* StudioRebirth adds synthesized high frequency harmonics to give life to old and dull sounding recordings.

Before you install Studio Clean, please make sure your computer fulfills the following requirements:

* A Pentium or compatible processor with a clock rate of 1 GHz or more
* Minimum 128 MB RAM
* A Windows compatible sound card

In addition, you will need the following software installed on your computer:

* Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP
* DirectX 8.0 or later
* A DirectX or VST compatible host application (such as Acoustica or other audio editing software)

Studio Clean 1.5
The latest release of our Studio Clean plug-in suite now supports VST hosts. Owners of previous versions of Studio Clean can upgrade for free and use their original license key.

Studio Clean costs $69

Outsim - SynthMaker v0.9.5u (Pc)

This release furthers the recent improvements to stability in exported VSTs with two big fixes. The problem with plugins not working in FL Studio 6 should now be resolved and the rising cpu issue has also been rectified.
What Is SynthMaker?
SynthMaker is a graphical programming environment for creating VST instruments and effects plug-ins.

You can also use SynthMaker to learn about and experiment with digital signal processing so it's a great educational tool as well.

Additions and fixes:

– Fixed the problem with plugins not working in FL Studio 6
– Corrected a problem with the voice management which was causing a slowly rising cpu during playback in some hosts
– The Mono To Graph component was delivering data which was not a coninuous set of samples
– Fixed a crash that can occur when using the FFT component due to threading issues
– Plugged a memory leak in the Font component that was particularly evident when using the readout components or anything using a timer to redraw
– Export to exe wasn't preventing interaction with hidden components underneath the exported module
– Updated the Push Button module so that it maintains the font face correctly
– Added an input to the Int Loop component so that loops of more than 1000 increments can be implemented

Sensomusic - Usine v1.016 (Pc/Free)

Usine is an patch oriented sound software where you can add plug-ins and connect them without restriction. The main purpose of this program is to provide a real time analysis of an input signal and then react with, and modify plug-in parameters to produce the sound.

Features

Build modular sound processing: creates patch with "modules" and connect them by virtual wires very simply.
Analyse input or generated sound, for example pitch, peaks or dynamics to create adaptive effects, modify any parameter in real time.
Use the built-in virtual mixing table to mix the sound produced by different patchs on each tracks (up to 16).
Create huge, creative or stupid audio routing within the mixing table. For example, routing, a patch output to another patch input, or create a virtual master effect send and return, etc.
Manage 16 external audio sources (8 stereo) and apply different effects to any of them.
Create flexible Surround or 5.1 projects: all audio tracks are 5.1 or 6.0. The output sound can routed to any of the 16 available outputs, depending on your sound card.
Create inserts patchs on any input / output channels. For example a master limiter or a master reverb.
Complete VST® processing: You can use any VST instruments or effect in patchs and modify any VST Parameter in real time. Create a front-end simple interface.
Complete MIDI automation: assign any Usine visual object to a midi controller very simply by using the midi-learn command. Complete integration of motorized external controllers.
Complete MIDI input/output management, for VSTi instruments or external expanders.
Load up to 256 patchs in memory in a "grid" and activate them as you want in real time.
Synchronize patchs and VST plug-ins with a master tempo. Use unusual and absurd tempo from 0! To 10000000000!
Record your creations directly on the hard disk in real time: separate tracks, inputs and outputs.
All Usine functions are "real-time", and you can resample, modify, input sound on the fly.
Of course, save patchs, complete workspaces, and configurations, for a very quick adaptation to different projects.
Use any sample rate, depending on your Asio sound card. Usine has a 32 bit floating point audio engine.

New version (1.016)

Yet another Usine release.

- The empty folders bug probably solved (thanks to bsork).
- New interface design and now you can choose different colour sets. Sébastien Ricolfi works on few (more) sexy sets...
- Toggle mode bug with key learn fixed (thanks to lalo).

(o) Sample properties such as, Volume, Pan and Frequency can be adjusted individually for each sample (even during mid play)
(o) A composition tool is provided, presented in a familiar multi-track sequencer environment. Looping compositions are also supported.
(o) Samples can be linked to keys on the keyboard and trigged in real time when a key press occurs
(o) Each sample can also have the play cursor position adjusted while the sample is playing, to provide a virtual needle to be moved
(o) Stream to disk recording, allows all audio played from OpenSebJ to be saved
(o) Pitch shifter roll, allows an order to be setup, so that each time a sample is played the next pitch shift in the sequence is undertaken before the sample is played. I.e. set up a sample to key '1', then setup a pitch shift sequence, high, mid, low, higher etc (using frequency values which are transposed to on screen 'ranges' to allow easier utilisation)
